When it comes to burning body fat, the best types of exercises that one can use to lose fat in the body effectively are cardio exercises. With the cardio exercises, you can lose considerable good number of pounds and you will lose it fast. For you to get the best in any cardio exercise that you will use for your weight loss journey, you have to search for the best cardio for burning fat. And once you have found the different cardio that you can use for your weight loss routine, you can be sure that you can lose weight fast.

While some people want to go to the gym or get a fitness expert to help them in their weight loss pursuit, there are some others who do not want to go to the gym because of some reasons which I will not bother to get into in this article maybe we will talk about it in subsequent articles. Getting the right cardio can be a pain in the neck if you have not done any weight loss routine before, but with the different best cardio for burning of fat that I will list here, you will have better knowledge on what you can do make sure you drop the number of pounds that you want to.

Interval Training

Incorporate interval training into your fitness plan to burn more calories. Alternate intense bursts of cardio with strength training moves. For example, jump rope for three minutes, perform plunges for three minutes, jump rope for another three minutes and complete a different strength training move for three minutes. Repeat this cycle for at least 30 minutes.

Reverse Cardio Workout

A reverse cardio workout provides an effective way to boost your calorie-burning potential, according to Fitness Magazine. Use a scale from 1-10 to rank how hard you are working. A 10 represent the hardest, while a 1 is the easiest. Use an elliptical or stair machine to complete this 24\ minute workout. Start with an 8.5 intensity. After three minutes, reduce your intensity to 8.0. Continue exercising, reducing your intensity by 0.5 every three minutes. Complete the session with a three minute workout at a level 5 intensity.


Kickboxing, which is often referred to as cardio kickboxing or boxing aerobics, is a combination of aerobics, martial arts and boxing that provides a full-body, fat burning workout. During the typical workout lasting 50 minutes, the average 135-lb person can expect to burn 350-450 calories. These workouts typically consist of a five minute warm up period; 35 minute workout and 10 minute cool down. Kickboxing is an interactive workout that uses repetitive kicking, hand strikes and punches before launching into a combination of all three. The repetitiveness ensures that you use the proper technique and putting it all together burns calories.


Running is a fat-burning exercise that you can do anywhere with room to run. Treadmills can be used at the gym or at home, while running tracks and parks provide running space anywhere. If you are running for weight-loss, you should be running at least 30 minutes a day, five days a week. Begin with a comfortable pair of shoes and a flat running surface, and add inclines and obstacles as you gain confidence. Running burns fat and calories at a rapid pace. A 160-lb. person running at 8 mph will be nearly 1,000 calories in one hour.

Intermediate Cardio Exercises

If you can keep your heart rate at a pace similar to jogging during your workout, you can create aerobic workouts. At this pace, one or both of your feet may leave the floor, creating low- or high-impact exercises. Jog in place, with or without high knees, or kicking your but with your heels each step. Mimic skipping rope. Do several minutes of jumping jacks. Go up and down stairs at a faster pace. Add bodyweight exercises such as pushups, situps, pullups, chinups, crunches, squats, lunges and dips. To perform dips, stand between two stable chairs and put your hands on the top of them. Bend your knees to get your feet off the floor, then raise and lower yourself with your arms, keeping your back straight. You can find a variety of aerobic exercise programs on your TV that don’t require equipment.


The art of hooping is experiencing a rebirth as a viable cardio exercise. Specially designed hoops provide a heart thumping workout that feels like play. It may take a bit of practice to get the hang of it, but the payoff of increased caloric expenditure makes the practice worth the effort. A weighted hoop is recommended for beginners as it doesn’t require a high level of coordination or a finely developed sense of rhythm to get it around your waist. Hooping can be done while watching TV, playing music or even out door in the yard.

 Running The Stairs

 Even if your home only has a few stairs, stepping up and down will push your heart rate up. Stepping up and down on those large muscles in your legs and buttocks, thereby increasing energy expenditure. Start slow, step lightly and push off fully with each foot. You can step at a moderate pace or increase your speed depending on the goals that you have set for yourself. Want to burn some major calories, but you don’t have a lot of time? Then step faster than usual. Monitor your breathing and heart rate to make sure you don’t overdo it. While engaged in vigorous activity, you should still be able to talk and breathe.


It is funny that the best cardio for burning fat are neglected for one reason or the other, but these exercises are the ones that offer the most possible solution to fat loss. One of these exercises is walking. With walking you can lose a good amount of fats that you don’t need in your body. You can start your day by going for a 30-60 minutes walk every morning. As you do this more often, you will observe that your heart rate will be elevated and as that happens, you will burn fat fast. This is among the best and easy fat burning cardio.
